Staff are genuinely friendly. Everything is clean and lots of little atmosphere additions which contribute to the experience
Great Picnic area close by with a water stream
Really experience the history and culture of the area in this impressive castle. Dating back to the 17th century, it was once a convent and is now elegant bed and breakfast.

This is a former monastery that became a little castle over time set high on a hill overlooking the lakes and forests near Ivrea in the Piemonte province. A beautiful setting. Lake Siro, just down the hill, is a great place to relax with the dog and go for a swim (together). Grounds inside the walls are beautifully landscaped; including the terraces leading down to the infinity pool - a very attractive place to be. We had a "family" room with a large queen bed and 2 single beds for the kids up on the top floor and it had plenty of space for us. It was nicely furnished with period-fitting pieces (not my style; but certainly attractive and appropriate). The hosts and all the people who served us were friendly and did their best to communicate in English to us (though it was difficult for them). The woman who made breakfast for us each day was very friendly, proactive and thoughtful...we very much appreciated her attentiveness.
